To register to vote, you must have lived in Tennessee at least 20 days and be 18 years
of age or older by the next election. You must register at least 30 days before the
election.

Bring proof of your age and place of residence, such as a driver's license or social
security card.
Or, register by mail:
By filling out the registration form available at all public buildings (e.g. post offices,
city hall, Drivers License Testing Center) and mailing it to the Election Commission
Office.
